Project Citizen
Project Citizen is a 5-piece band formulated from the ideological madness of the world around us. With their Folk/Rock meets Metal sound, Project Citizen utilizes the refined talents of Phillip Fraser (Singer/Songwriter), Ben Stidham (Guitar/Songwriter), Conrad Bauer (Lead Guitar/Cello), Adam Rohde (Bass), & John Kyle (Drums/Percussion), to execute complex arrangements with emotionally stirring lyrics.

Formally known as ‘the Prima Nocte’, Project Citizen was originally assembled by songwriter Ben Stidham, Adam Rohde and John Kyle while attending Musicians Institute (Hollywood, Ca.) during the Spring ’06 semester. Phillip Fraser and Ben Stidham were teamed up during a Live Performance Workshop at random. Almost immediately, they recognized the potential in each other.

By the end of Spring 06’ the Prima Nocte was playing electrifying shows throughout the Los Angeles area (Cat Club, Roxy-on-the-Rocks, Hollywood Roosevelt) as well as interviewing and appearances on programs such as Indie Airplay’s ‘the NateGus Show’. Conrad Bauer allied with the Prima Nocte in winter of 08’as new addition to the band.

Project Citizen is now in the final stages of production for their first album ‘Between the Lines’, slated to be released summer 09’ on Xact Production. In this album, Project Citizen takes their sound to another level, combining the producing and engineering wizardry of Edward Peifer with Project Citizens passionate, and often aggressive songs.
